If I played as many games as you do I'd be through my BR at this point.

[/ QUOTE ]

Absolutely not. Don't forget your bankroll is more or less replenished to the same level with the winning wagers you made the previous week. It's a little more weekly outlay than some are comfortable with but it reduces risk variance quite a bit over the course of the season.

[/ QUOTE ]

you missed my point:
you stated that you were down 2units so maybe you had lost your magic (or something like that).
my point was that if I played as many games as you I would be wrong on so many of them that my BR would be G-O-N-E! because I suck at this.

As it is, I'm only down 1unit after 10 plays.

Ah I see, I see.

Does anyone else find it eerie that last week people were saying there is no way that Dallas could stay with Philly and this week they say no way NO can stay with Atlanta?

I think there is something about the human condition in all this and its frightening.

Then again, NO only scored 3 points against GB. . .

[/ QUOTE ]

If you think Haslett, A.Smith and Stallworth are as good as Parcells, jones, and Glenn, your analysis is valid.

I seem to remember Indy covering last week also.

Nothing is a lock, but NO sucks, Atlanta is a really good team on both sides of the ball. I just can't see taking the Saints.

[/ QUOTE ]

I will restate my earlier post.

There's no free money in the NFL.

If you disagree strongly with a widely available line, your first thought should be, "I am wrong."

[/ QUOTE ]

Last week I seem to remember a few people disagreeing with the Phil -3 line saying Phil will blow them out.

Another group said "No way you give Parcells points at home, this +3 line is WAY OFF."

In this case, what do you do?

I was one of them if I may shamelessly pat myself on the back, but...
Look at the 3+1 picks last week....there were 54,872 Philly picks and maybe 2 for Dallas.

Saints cover. What a shock that betting your whole bankroll on one game didn't work out.
