What the heck was your friend doing calling an all-in bet with bottom pair.

[/ QUOTE ]

As others pointed out, he was snapping off a bluff from a chronic overaggressive bluffer.

I'll also put up $50 at 3-1. I don't care how good he is, 3-1 odds with 58 players left is great. PM me if the offer is still out there.

Damn, just saw the other action on this already.

Oh, and yes, it was discussed in yesterdays thread that it is the same Tommy Vu.

I'll take your bet. If Ivey wins, I give you 150, if Ivey doesn't, you give me 50. (EDIT: Let me know if you're actually going to do this.)

Sorry i already doing it with Jack Daniels. Im not making two bets too rich for my blood. Perhaps id take one more at 4-1 though....

[/ QUOTE ]

Weak. Three minutes before I posted you were still looking for somebody to take you up on this.

Snooze and Lose brother!

Sounds to me like he was picking off a bluff.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes of course he was picking off a bluff. But is he 100% sure it's a bluff, of course not. So say he's only 60 or 70 % sure it's a bluff. Is it worth it knowing that even though you may be correct, you still have to have that bottom pair to stand up to the turn and river cards.

Weighing all of that, I would never call at that stage of the tourney.

If you need any more action i'll bet against ivey winning it all at 1:3 PM me if you want to do the same deal with me.

That's surely why Matusow pushed.
