I went from playing .5/1 at Paradise, to playing a few I cleared the Empire bonus for max, so that helped my BR a bit. To clear the bonus I played mostly 2/4, and then when it got to crunch time I 3-tables the 1/2 6m games. I suck at 3-tabling 1/2 6m games! You're involved in nearly every hand it seems with a marginal hand that requires thought, and my brain just don't go that fast. So I cleared the bonus, but then I had to withdraw another chunk of my BR to pay for something I agreed to before my tax thing (coaching). Anyway, I'm running better than I deserve at 2/4, building up that BR again. My BR stands at about 800 now, after the 2nd withdrawl. I'm hoping that I can get back to playing the 100+9 MTTs soon, but I need to grow the roll a bit first. I'd really like to clear the GamesGrid bonus. But since they are a new site, I'd want to use money that wouldn't hurt if the company vaporized. In order to clear the max, I'd need $500, which is too much of my roll for now. I'll get there soon enough. Oh, plus I found $50 in neteller that I could deposit in to party and play at the 2+2 table last night. That was fun. We should have private 2+2 tables more often. Taking over the public tables is fun, but the private tables are also more educational. Somehow, I ended +35BB at that table. So as of now, I'm grinding the 2/4 tables. I have my sights set on 300 BB for 3/6, which is still a fairly new level for me. Beyond that, I'm planning on the 5/10 full and short games. Up til now, I've always considered 5/10 to be my "big game". It's always seemed so far away. Now I'm confident I can get to the big game eventually. Weather or not I can stay there is yet to be determined... My requirements for my rebuild have been 150BB, with a plan to drop down if I fell to 100BB. So far, I haven't had to drop down. I've been lucky. I got the idea for 150BB from one of the "Poker Essays" books, which I bought just before the big tax drain.

Yea, I agree with you. I've put in a decent number of hands and I've cleared $60 of the bonus. I don't think I'm even going to bother going after the rest of the bonus. Live and learn.
