I'll take Jackie in the last scene of the first Drunken Master, versus I think the guy I think they called "Thunderfoot." One of my favorite martial arts films. Even the commentary is great.

Or, for that matter, the final scene of Yojimbo. Will [/ QUOTE ] I love Kurosawa and Toshiro Mifune, but a great deal of Kurosawa's scenes are shot so that you can't really make heads or tails of the movements. Very exciting, but I definitely get the feeling you don't need to know the first thing about swords to be a swordsman in a Kurosawa flick. The last quick one on one iaido-type swordfight in Yojimbo was very cool, though. You got to really see it more, and it was very tense. |

The 1936 Robin Hood: Errol Flynn vs Basil Rathbone.
Great scene, skillful fencing. Fencing aside, Flynn was also a famous swordsman. |

Rathbone was considered the best in Hollywood, Tyrone Power a gifted second, Flynn way behind both of them.
