Over-the-top - and not in a good way. That last scene everyone loves - "I'd take a flamethrower to this place!" is howlingly bad. It's like they said, "hey, remember the "You're out of order!" speech from "And Justice For All? THAT'S what we need here." Only it didn't work. Look, if you like the movie, you like the movie. Nothing wrong with that. It didn't work for me on almost every level. But to place it at or near the top of Pacino's films is ludicrous. [/ QUOTE ] Just wanted to say I agree with everything Dominic says here, except I thought the movie was about 156 minutes too long. I honestly can never understand anyone watching this movie for anything other than the comedy value that comes from watching excrutiatingly bad movies.
