Chad Johnson is getting no love from anyone on this board (cept for clark)

he's top 3, easy.

[/ QUOTE ]

He's top 5, easy, but when considering moving Marvin out of the top 3, nothing is easy. Since this is so contentious, here's my top ten:

1. Owens
2. Moss
3. Harrison
4. CJohnson
5. Holt
6. Ward
7. Horn
8. Walker
9. Mason
10. Coles

I don't think you can put Moulds on this anymore. J Smith either.

Oh, and Steve Smith, if he isn't on this list is an easy eleven. That guy is awesome.

But Coles you can? I agree he's better than S. Moss, but meh....Z is right about Moulds always having crappy QB's - Todd Collins, Alex Van Pelt, Billie Joe Hobert, Rob Johnson, Doug Flutie, Bledsoe, JP....ouch...give the guy some love.
I like your top 9 though.
Edit: yeah, S. Smith I'd probably rank #8 just ahead of Walker. I think fantasy stats has blurred a lot of people's evaluation of "best".

Don't get me wrong, I think Moulds is awesome. Two years ago I'd have had him top 6, easy. But I think he's lost a lot in a couple of years. Yes, his QBs have sucked. But I don't think he's as threatening as some of these other guys.

As for my top 9, thank you. Ten is murky. Like I said. I really think I might want to put Steve Smith there. Him, Laverneus, Mushin, a lot of guys could go there.

It wouldn't be S Moss though. And it wouldn't be Branch. And even though I'm Badger class of 2000, it wouldn't be Evans, yet. If Losman develops Evans is going to be a star.

118 for Roy Williams, 78 and 75 for Moss and Evans respectively.

[/ QUOTE ]

And the ratio difference makes sense.

Steve Smith is very awesome, and I'm a Saints fan.

Coles vs. Moss is interesting and they'll probably be compared throughout their career. While there's debate about who's better (and I think moss has the early lead this season), there should be no debate that the Moss/Coles traded was ridiculous.

I think Moss will outproduce Coles this year.

This is another one of those one guy does this better one guy does that. Santana can score from anbywhere whenever he touches the ball. That's [censored] scary for a team. To me, he's prob the best slot type WR in the league. He doesn't do enough on run blocking and going over the middle and playing hurt to be a #1 WR, IMO, but he does do some special things.

Laverneus does all the things Santana doesn't. And he's not exactly slow.

Santana might outperform Laverneus this year, but it should be close. It was remarkable to me that Coles has 90 catches on the Skins O last year. I mean, that's a [censored] load of catches on that offense, with that QB. Of course, the relative health/abiality of their respective QBs plays a major factor here....

I think the forum here underrates Chad Johnson and Hines Ward. They would be my 4 and 5 after Moss, TO, Marvin.

As a member of the Badger class of 2004, I can assure you that if Jim Sorgi was good enough for Evans to become a star in College, then Losman or just about anyone else is good enough for evans in the NFL.
