Yep, he's even helped out an idiot newbie like myself a couple times.

There's something to be said for karma and cherishing others... this is proof in my mind. Congratulations, it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

He seems like a very helpful guy, and also one who often congratulate fellow posters here on their success in tournaments smaller than WSOP. Time for everyone else to congratulate him for his awesome performance for the whole tourney.

I agree 100%. Greg has been a great resource for this forum for a long time and is an excellent tourney player. I just get a little annoyed when I see messages congratulating him that have to rip on Moneymaker, that's all. I also don't think we saw much of Greg's best play reported. I suspect on the telecast we'll actually get to see the relentless aggression that he always shows once he gets a stack as well as probably a couple of BIG bluffs. I'm waiting to see some of that poker, all the all-in preflop and turn over the cards stuff is sorta blah, except for the $5m part.

Congratulations Greg. I bet you can't wait for a fossil shopping spree with your winnings.

Also, a heart felt thanks because you will bring all sorts of new fish to the table

Figures. I drop off the boards for two months for work and home-buying, and one of our very own wins it all when I'm not looking. Congrats Greg!

Congrats Greg. That was one hell of an amazing job. I can't wait for the trip report. That will be one of the most exciting posts ever I'm sure. Just don't let two plus two out of the bag, or else we will get spamed to no end.
