Which is why I said 'I am working on not playing it'. I really like playing these hands in position, but they end up really hurt my win rate because I end up missing draws and trying to bluff people and getting called by bottom pair and going on tilt and dumping stacks and stacks. It's better just to fold preflop most of the time. My current goal is to reduce variance almost as much as it is to increase EV. I have simply tilted off way too much money over the past year. Probably around 5K or so. Which would almost double my bankroll and would allow me to play higher limits. So I'm working to fix that.

An excellent post. Very thought provoking. A simple thing like checking the flop generated a lot of interesting discussion.
