i agree, i'm far more terrified of the bathroom door handle more than the toilet seat. so many sick fuckers take a leak and do not wash their hands...i knew a butcher that did this, one time he took a [censored], walked out...later on during work i saw him working in the backroom, butchering some meat...ugh...gross dude

It's possible to be neat, even primped, without being a germophobe.

Besides, work by Chuck Gerba at the University of Arizona shows that public toilets are cleaner than other public spaces. That's not to say there are not germs present. Gerba does recommend keeping your toothbrush in the medicine cabinet.

But overall, a public restroom is not the worst of your worries.

So you can use hair gel and still heckle someone else for not wanting to use a public toilet.

I feel almost the same way. I actually still haven't gotten used to the toilet in my new apartment.

Before coming to Europe it was extremely rare.

Now that I am here traveling around and staying in hostels, all the time. I think my public toilet shitting phobia is over. I have found the best place is the handicap stalls at museums, always clean.
