You are a scumbag for trying to manipulate a situation which was obviously not a bet.

Because of the disgraceful way in which you are going about this I would suggest that no one take your action unless an intermediary holds the money, regardless of odds and stakes.

I love the "liberal media" bit which gets bandied about year in and year out.

All the major news organizations are owned by large, public corporations. And you will find that those corporations are overwhelmingly run by Republicans.

Perhaps you're right and the media is liberal - that only means that, like President Bush, those corporate executives are too incompetent to have any real control over those below them on the pay scale.

Grey forgets that you don't have to prop up your popularity in an off-election year.

In 2003, the same things were being said about Bush as now. "Record low approval ratings" etc. But he saved his coordinated publicity campaign for 2004.

Of course, the liberal media is anti-Bush year in and year out, so when you aren't actively broadcasting your message, the drip drip of negativity tends to drag your polls down. But its only temporary.

I'm a scumbag? I'm not the one suggesting prayers be said for something bad to happen in this nation. There are some disgraceful scummy people here. The easy way to spot them is to just look at the the titles of the threads they start.

I was just yanking Grey's chain becuase he was talking all big about how its a virtual lock Bush's numbers wouldn't go up. When I confronted him with the 10-1 bet at his number(46%) he pussed out. They way Grey was talking 50-1 would have been reasonable odds for an out come that "has no chance in hell". 10-1 is excellent and the only reason Grey won't accept it is because he knows hes full fo crap.

FWIW, I never expected to get any money out of the likes of Grey on that even money bet. If by chance Grey conceded, I had planned to donate that money to the Red Cross(I thought about donating it to the republicans just to piss Grey off even further, but then decided that would be pushing it).

You can call me a troll if you want too, but scumbag....that label fits better on other people.

Default Nice Chart..........But..........

.........it is too bad it does not show the seats lost by the Democrats in the Congress and Senate. Perhaps you're over estimating the correlation between these polls and the actual elections....

I must decline as my bankroll for betting on politics is all tied up in a bet I have with Grey.

What a surprise. It's sad that the policies of your boy Bush have so depressed your economic condition that you can't even take advantage of profitable wagering opportunities. Or maybe you just suck at gambling and have lost your roll.
