Re: What is your rent?
I currently pay $0, but my girlfriend pays $675 Cdn for our 930 sqft studio apartment in Vancouver, CA. (in New Westminster, actually, near the water). I am a freeloader.
We're moving to San Fran in three months though, and we've already signed a lease agreement. $1450 a month for a 2br in Chinatown. Has a great view, otherwise sucks. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Renting is for suckers. [/ QUOTE ] Take it to another thread, jackass. PS-You are wrong in some cases [/ QUOTE ] I'd like to hear your reasoning if you take affordability (or lack thereof) out of the equation. [/ QUOTE ] !!! [/ QUOTE ] Oh c'mon. In most cases monthly rent = monthly mortgage, and in many cases it's actually cheaper to own. |

Re: What is your rent?
$875 for a newly renovated two-bedroom. Heat and Water included. This is actually pretty high rent for the city I live in (Winnipeg), but it's a good, safe area and relatively close to downtown.

Basically, it's pretty ignorant to say there are no valid reasons for renting. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not saying there are no valid reasons, but bottom line is, renting is akin to flushing money down the toilet. |

[/ QUOTE ] getting a loan when your occupation is "proffesional gambler" isnt the easiest thing in the world to do. Most of your mortgage payment is interest in the beggining anyway, so its not like you arent flushing money away either |
