You can also add a few registry keys to have PA Hud recognize your databases if you do not have PokerTracker installed. I can post a link to a post I made giving details on how to do this if you are interested.

Please do, Ace. That's been the deal breaker for me. Once it's gone I'll join the ship.

My deal breaker would be the ability to easily, and quickly, pull up the stats on each player.

Here's the link where I describe how to use PT databases on a machine without PT installed:

I hate that feature. Give me VPIP and PF, that's enough. Too much stats candy makes me fat and clumsy. Each his own, though.

Agreed.

The tone of your post suggests that you didn't notice that, in PA, the stats pop up easily and quickly if you click on the player's name (and then disappear if you click on the box that pops up).

It took me a couple of seconds when I was first using PA to realize you don't click on the stats, you click on the player's name. Of course, it's spelled out in the release notes or help or whatever, so as soon as I read that I was good to go.

Noone has answered the question yet about if Pokerace is useable without the Partyskins throwing a hissy fit....

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but all you have to do is click the player's name for the big list of stats to pop open.

I am an admitted halfwit, none too bright whatsoever, but if at least 50 people reply to a thread saying how great the product is, and one person even says they use it because PokerEdge is banned, I'm just gonna have to go with the fact that it is allowed.

In the time since PokerAce Hud has been in existance, I've had exactly one user tell me he received an email from Party. This user was also using PokerProphecy (known to be banned by Party).

For the present time, the sites do not seem to have any sort of problems with personal HUDs. They dislike the applications that share data among users.
