I got no problem with Kane being a dick.
I got no problem with Kane braggin' how good he is at everything.
I got no problem with Kane hating fat women.
I got no problem if he comes on here bragging about flopping the nuts to some guy who is drawing dead and just pumping money into Kane's pockets.

My problem is that this tard never contributes anything useful to help other players who are learning the game. Whether or not that contribution is useful or detremintal is one thing, but at least try.

Ok I lied..I I got a problem with kane being a dick.

Yeah. I lurk over there (don't really post since I don't play much NL other than small stakes) and have often found Kane's strategy posts helpful.

i would 3bet pf. lead the flop and call the raise. check call the turn. lead the river and pay off a raise.

1) You were offended by his post? Wow. You take poker too seriously.

[/ QUOTE ]

correct

2) Your judgement is poor. Kane is an excellent NLHE player.

[/ QUOTE ]

kane is good, but you overestimate him. read his recent post of 10ish hands to see. He's a winner, but he certainly still has many leaks not held by other MHPLNL players. I think your judgement is clouded by the fact that he is appropriately dickish for your tastes.

[ QUOTE ]
3) Of course aggro higher limit games can be tough. However, I know of no expert NLHE players who have trouble beating limit games. I know a number of expert LHE players who have a lot of trouble beating NLHE games. Just my observations, take from that what you will.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is entirely true, if they are taking the game seriously. when i play any form of limitpoker, i don't.

[ QUOTE ]
4) KKF is a dick. But he rules.

[/ QUOTE ]

KKF certainly has his place.

First of all you didnt even post what limit this was. If you really think all the limit players are so bad, you should make it your main game. Theres no way you make as much at 2K No limit as you will at the 100-200 and 150-300 limit games.

[/ QUOTE ]

2k nl players can make somewhere around 550 bucks and hour with less variance than 100-200.
30-60 limit you can swing somewhere around 200 an hour.
100-200 and 2k nl are comparable.

I started playing NL first and then I moved to limit. For the record.

[/ QUOTE ]

indeed the money, risk/reward ratio and BR requirements all favor NL, for a good player. it's just much harder to be a good NL player as the pay scale is so much steeper (the best player at the table makes a lot, a few others make a little, the donks lose a lot, unlike limit where a few good players can all make a good profit).
