What I asked:

[ QUOTE ]
What FoxNews competitor provices the best coverage of important events such that one will not be left with misconceptions (at least not as many as Fox)? Would you say CBS for instance?

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

Why don't you try actually READING something on your own if you ACTUALLY cared? I cited a bunch of stories that answer your question.

Do you want me to answer it for you? I doubt you will take my word for it. But, here you go: according to the studies cited, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and CBS show less biased reporting than FoxNews. CBS was the worst behind FOX.

Will you watch them anyways? No, you like your kool-aid.

[/ QUOTE ]

The questions I asked are clear enough and can be answered quite easily and briefly. You haven't answered the questions, apparently you don't want to and you don't intend to. So typical.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you not read? The answers are staring you in the face and you are too dissmissive and brain-washed to notice. I wouldn't be nearly as pretentious if I were you.

Hmmmm. That explains why he looks to the TV for "real" news.

THanks for the insight.

don't give yourself a heart attack -

there will always be bigots, idiots, neo-cons, and people completely at ease with being selective about the truths they believe in - a la 1984 Orwellian Doublespeak -

You made a very good argument, he couldn't refute it, you win, case closed.

I like Fox News and I think it is the most accurate news source out there. I have yet to see a story about where Fox deliberately lied (like the NYT has been caught doing numerous times). If I found Fox was making up facts/stories to push an agenda I would stop watching. However, I have yet to see a single example alongs the lines of what has happened at the liberal outlets - CBS, NYT, LAT, CNN, BBC.

The original post to this story signifies nothing. He had his facts wrong. There appears to be nothing more. I would no more fault him for this than I would fault the NYT or any other source. It happens. Now, if you could show it was deliberate or it was a pattern then you have something.

He is allowed to be a blowhard and he is allowed to give his slanted opinion as he is not on a news show. btw - I dont like his show very much. I like H&C much better.

[/ QUOTE ]Thank you. Now I'm going to go watch bums fight each other.

I have yet to see a fox scandal

[/ QUOTE ]That's because you 1) aren't looking, and 2) will attribute any foxnews scandals to "honest mistakes".

That's what bother me so much about this topic, the complete and utter hypocrisy by those who love Fox News. Fox News has made many errors, issued retractions, and has a severe slant.

It happens to CBS and they clean house, firing all responsible, yet it is a running joke for them to drag CBS through the mud.

It is a complete double-standard and blatant hypocrisy.

Default Did you see the sweat dripping off Blair\'s face near the end ?

People were calling him a "liar" to his face.

Cut to nice women, in American "town hall" meetings, thanking Bush for allowing them to be in his presence.

Dramatic contrast.

Why couldnt he simply have been wrong? What is the motive here?

[/ QUOTE ]

If you tell people what they want to hear, they will watch. That's his motive.
