Re: Official Message from Empire Poker
[ QUOTE ]
I sent support an email telling them that for the first 18 months of playing online poker I considered them my home except when I was off chasing bonuses. The past 3 months my home has been Eurobet because of an affiliate deal. I prefer to play at Empire but when I first started playing I knew nothing about affiliates and started playing without one. I asked if somehow I could play under the same affiliate but do it at Empire OR create a new account with Empire under him. I also asked about whether my account was in good standing because I have been playing at Eurobet [/ QUOTE ] So you just grassed up your affiliate to IGM for giving rakeback????? Is that an intelligent thing to do? |

Re: Official Message from Empire Poker
I did not say rakeback. I said affiliate deal. Affiliates offer many different things.

Re: I call BS, this is not from Empire
If you play there, send them a link and ask them if it is indeed their official statement. That's what I did and they told me it was real. I think this is really their position.

Re: Official Message from Empire Poker
[ QUOTE ]
EmpirePR, I would suggest you restructure your bonus system to benefit your loyal costumers and new sign-ups. Make more account specific reloads with smaller playthrough requirements and general reloads with high enough playthrough requirements that you will not lose money to bonus chasers. Offering bonuses that cause this conflict is bad business and should be discontinued. I play a limited amount of poker and sometimes attractive bonuses are what get my attention from one site over the next. Many sites actively encourage this type of pattern. Until the actions of Empire poker administration this weekend I was under the impression that Empire welcomed all players, even players who choose to only play during bonus periods. What exactly constitutes an "active player"? These things need to be made clear to everybody. In the future I don't want to run afoul of your site's un-written policy by unwittingly abusing something that seems to be freely offered when I am not able to play much when bonuses aren't being offered. Until I can be sure my business is truly wanted I believe I will be avoiding Empire poker (and it's reload bonuses) in the future. - Sincerely, a concerned "active" empire player since 8-04 [/ QUOTE ] great post. did you email this to them? |

No. If someone wants to cut and paste my sentiments they're welcome to it.

Re: Official Message from Empire Poker
Maybe if you didn't deposit on these sites to get a bonus and then immediately cashout you wouldn't have had your account closed. Says right in Empires Terms and Conditions that they can close your account if you do this. Boneheads.

Re: Official Message from Empire Poker
Here is the response I received from Empire support regarding the EmpirePR post.
I wrote: Hi- I was wondering if it was really Empire Poker who posted a thread on 2+2 about closing accounts for people who only play during bonus clearing time. Thanks for your help. Response: "Thank you for contacting us. This is in response to your query. We are not aware of any such activity. We give information to our players through our own website only. " |

You've posted this same argument twice that I've seen. You CAN'T withdraw before you clear the bonus. There would be no cash in your account to clear the bonus with. |
