I think the cover is unique and has great potential.

There's a few elements of the design that in my mind could be improved: hard to read text, mismatched/pixelated card graphics, and overuse of drop shadows. These elements of the design are definitively bad in my mind.

If this stuff is reworked in the final cover I think it will look great.

Congrats Akmoose!

It was a fun contest. Thanks for the kind comments on my design everyone, and thanks Mason for the T-Shirts!

These are not T-shirts. They are polo shirts and are very high quality. You'll be impressed.

Best wishes,
Mason

Hi Mason,

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet, but what will Greg Raymer's late 2005 book cover?

Thanks.

Mason,

Are these the same polo shirts that you were wearing in Vegas last week?

How about's Steamboatin's "How to lose a 3x shirt"?

I am going to steal all the Bad Beat Stories from the Archives.

You might not be interested but I figure Helmuth's publisher might go for it.

I dont see why people would complain about the winner. It is very nice, eye grabbing, futuristic, and crisp (Iknow thats more of a lettuce attribute, but still) There were so many great entries, to critisize a choice is silly. I think it is leaps and bounds over any other cover they have used in the past

Mason,

I have to say that I'm thoroughly disappointed you did not pick BusterStacks' cover. I hope you consider this eye-catching design for a future book.

Regards,
Sam

Thanks Mason, just got my copy of the first book and I'm already really looking forward to vol 2 (as well as Sklansky/miller's NLHE book).
