This makes a huge difference, especially if "some" means a significant number compared to the total number of hands.

Folding this hand pre-flop...yeah, right.

Give me Q5s and i'm calling. That's probably a lot closer on the EV charts, but I still think +ev.

no. the short handed is usually high stakes and is not tracked. however, a little is in the #.
