Wow, I didn't think the Smiths were that popular here. I saw Moz at Radio City last year. He opened with How Soon is Now. Awesome. I like Last Night Maudlin Street. Lucky Lisp and Yes I Am Blind off the top of my head. Meat Is Murder is real good too. No one mentioned Suedehead? I guess that's too much (Dial a) cliche.

ok how soon is now is definitely not the best smiths song. it has a great guitar sound but all their songs do and the lyrics and vocal performance on the song are kind of boring relative to their other stuff.
heaven knows im miserable now is one of my favorites... but clearly their best song is there is a light that never goes out. in is the best example of what they did best and why the kids will love them for years to come.
