Ball wasn't hit anywhere near deep enough for Walker to tag up on.. That's showing absolutely no respect to Manny, I mean, I could probably throw his ass out from there.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think he had to tag there. What do you think Sanders' chances of getting a hit there against Pedro are? 20%? I'd bet that even on a routine throwout like that one, Walker makes the plate safely more than 20% against ManRam.

And did anyone else see Pedro give that love tap with his glove to some Cardinal after the first inning? are they friendly, or is he just a jerk?

[/ QUOTE ]

Pedro Martinez and Larry Walker were teammates in Montreal. I'm sure it was just a friendly gesture based simply on Walker's non-reaction.

I actually didn't think of that.. Gets lost in the Renteria-Walker-Pujols-Rolen-Edmonds stretch that the Cardinals really don't have any other bats.

Also, Suppan can't walk Cabrera there.. gotta throw a strike and try to avoid Manny.

Wow, Nixon took a tough fall.

Alright, midpost.. what the hell just happened there??? They conceded the run to Suppan, and he just stops, then gets picked off?

Manny and Ortiz may not have great gloves. But, they're showing off their accurate arms tonight.
