Default Re: Group Buy - Teddy KGB chips

I'm confused on how TR King prices their chips. I know on the site it said .70 for up to 2 colors on the printed inlay. How much more could single edgespots be? I know doubles bring it up to like $1.30.

They make it so confusing...

Wow those look great. I agree with your comments about the blue vs. white.

I also agree with the comment about using the "cent" symbol instead of the .25 design.

Please keep us updated about pricing etc.

awesome job eric on the mockups!
i agree with others. blue is definately better. i have a huge dislike for white chips because they get dirty so quickly.

should make it 25c and not $.25
and there should be NO edgespots on the 25cent piece. why would this chip deserve spots? its only a quarter. save the round edges for a bigger denom.

i thought the spots on the $25 were darker orange?

i agree with others that the thickness of the $5 edgespot should be larger.

and my last gripe has nothing to do with the design but TR King itself. Its a shame they cannot make edges that go all the way to the inlay. if you see other pics of TR kings the spots on go about half way from the edge to the white inlay (i have yet to see a TRKing where the spots go past the Crown molding). it will take away some of the authenticty of the chip. but nothing can be done about this. atleast Trking gives us options on edge spots unlike pokerchips.com
maybe we can talk with Dennis from TRKing into putting some "extra effort" into making these chips nice.

but the $100 chip looks perfect! great job man!

P.S. i just noticed this off the trking website.

notice the white chip (2nd Column 2nd Row) and how the edges go deeper into the center. i hope they can do this for us too!

Could even consider going with a plain (non-striped) hot stamped .25 chip. I happen to think hot-stamped fractionals are more "authentic" looking anyway.

I've always liked that idea. Although unless there were a significant savings I'd rather have a spotted inlayed chip.

Are there any progress on this? I am really interested in these chips. But is it possible for whoever is carrying this out to ship to Norway. Is it possible to pay via VISA ord PayPal?

Happy Newyear!

Any news? Has anyone talked to TR King about the deeper edgespots or found out about the 4 edge spots at pokerchips.com

Why not make the $0.50 chip a white chip with regular edgespots? My personal preference is that the half-moon edgespot doesn't look right with such an old-school style. IMO, I'd like to see a white chip with maybe red edgespots.

The proofs look amazing overall.
