Re: 2001fp $467.30 shipped!
I just got mine today. Setup most of everything except for figuring the mouse out. I couldnt get the mouse to scroll onto the new monitor. Of course, I only had 10 minutes before work to put everything together.
Also, turn the power off when plugging the monitor in. I shocked the [censored] out of my hand today. |

Got mine today too, a week ahead of the scheduled date Dell gave. Perfect screen with no dead pixels, yippee!
I do have a question though, does anyone know of any program that will allow me to set the monitor in portrait mode? I have a laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9600, and when I downloaded the latest Catalyst drivers my laptop monitor got screwed up. It did let me rotate the 2001FP display, though. |

I got in on this too. Just wanted to share in the general rejoicing.

Re: 2001fp $467.30 shipped!
wow, I just set up my old CRT (which is prtty nice as far as CRTs go) as a 2nd monitor and it looks so unbelievably shitty next to my 2001fp. I need to hit the tables and buy another one ASAP.

Re: 2001fp $467.30 shipped!
Just plugged my monitor in. This thing is a freakin beast. I am going to order another one tonight! My only problem is that when I am using the dvi plugs my wireless goes dead. Everything is fine when I am using the blue plugs. Anybody else have a similar problem?

Still 30% off, but no more code
Dang, you guys finally convinced me, but the code expired. I tried calling them at a friend's suggestion, but they still wouldn't let me use the code, and couldn't beat the $527.30 price. He also said they wouldn't be this cheap again ever, and then tried to sell me some timeshares in Florida (no, wait, the Florida part was my imagination). My weak-tight play foiled me again!

Re: 2001fp $467.30 shipped!
The peer pressure finally got to me, too. I've been 4-tabling with no overlap for two nights now, and it's pretty nice.
The way I convinced my tight-fisted, money-grubbing brain to do it was to tell it that the Multipoker $500 bonus actually came in the form of a monitor. Also I said, "If you allow just this one extravagance, then I won't bother you again and I can go back to killing you with beer." -web |
