I modified the background to make it easier on the eye. Feel free to use it.

Is there a way to keep the software from replacing this background when you start it up? Mine says it needs to update and always replaces my custom backgrounds with the default one.

Basically you need to make a .bat file

copy <backgrounds> to some other location
copy <originals> back
run PokerStarsUpdate.exe
copy <backgrounds> back

Save the file as PokerStarsMod.bat and link it to your desktop and run that link when starting up.

So if I change them to all aces and can't understand why my 7 aces keep losing, it's not their fault?

Thanks for the batch file suggestion.

I made a sepia background also. I find it even easier on the eye.

An auto-chop feature at the end of tournies would be nice (so we can make our own deals not worry about contacting support).

I just started playing on Pokerstars recently, prompted mainly by the bonus and the Party strife, but I'm really starting to like it. The game selection for 6-max is pretty good, and the waiting lines are practically nil.

The most important addition, in my opinion, would be to put "6-max" in the table names of the 6-max tables so that we don't have to manually change the sessions in pokertracker. It's just a pain in the butt for those of us who are strictly 6-max these days. This doesn't seem like it would be hard to change in the software.

Thanks!

More from me:

The tournament section of the main lobby is the most worthless POS of any site I've been on. It's usually much easier for me to open another site's client and join an SnG there vs. trying to find one of Stars.

Also, WHY does the lobby always insist on moving the selection bar around. Often when I want to open another table, I find that it has found its way to the .04/.04 games. Why does it move up on its own?
