Colson. That was badass.

As for one of the best calls (that no one has mentioned yet)- Lee Watkinson calls Pete Lawsons all in with middle pair at the Legends of Poker WPT event. Action went like this:

3 handed, Lawson has the button, Doyle in the small blind, Lee in the BB. Pete Lawson min raises with J6s, doyle folds, Lee calls with Q6o. He has been bitch slapping lawson around for a few hands, so he obviously was thinking about that. flop comes 762. Lee check raises Lawson, then lawson reraises all in for a pretty sizable amount if i remember correctly. Lee thinks for a while and calls with middle pair. Afterwards Doyle says "that was a hell of a call."

I don't think calling w/ top pair qualifies.

That's silly.

And your new location makes me laugh.

I think he was wondering about the K5 hand. It was from the EPT French Open. It aired in Europe and Canada sometime in the last few months, but not the US.

I know there's a dvd edition of the final in Monte Carlo. I'm not sure if there's one of Deauville, and I also don't know where you would get it.

I'm glad it made you laugh but it's not a new location. That's been my location since the 2004 WSOP ME.

WSOP ME 2004 Annie Duke moving in for her last 25k with KQ the board showing 4 6 5 5 and being called by some amatuer with AQ "A pro would never make that call" according to Annie.

this came to mind right away, not s ure it was a "great call" though.

of course julian gardner's play with TT in the hole was amazing.

and any play when you hear daniel negreanu say this after he calls, "i caught you didn't i?? i knew it!"

saying matusows call against raymer is good is like someone calling an all in with 55 and being up against AJ or something, it was still 50-50
