get an archos gmini400
it has a 20gb hard drive and besides mp3s, it does divx, so u can watch any movie/tv show on it; there is also a free gamegear/sega master system emulator for it, so u can play any gamegear/master system game on it it also has a compact flash slot so u can take the card out of ur camera and hit one button and boom it's stored on the gmini's hard drive so u can erase the card and keep shooting pics out in the field u can also view jpgs on it, zoom in on them, etc it's about $300, but much better than an ipod in summary: mp3 player divx player photo wallet photo viewer gamegear

I plan on getting one of these. Either this winter or in the spring.
http://www.cabrinhakites.com/products/kites.php ...then a harness - and then I could get a snowboard to go with it if I go this winter, or a wakeboard to go with it this spring. Kite boarding... a sport I'd like to get into. I was driving home by the nearby lake about a month ago - and saw some guy floating 20 feet in the air with one of these things. I've been obsessed ever since. I may do it earlier if I decide I want to do it on the frozen lake. Spend your money on fun. Outside.
