Are you [censored] serious? Do you want to put some money on that? I'll take whoever USC plays in their bowl game +17.5, even if it isn't Texas, Va. Tech, or Florida.

Sure, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Deal. How about we bet now and I'll let you cancel if any key players from USC go down or Pete Carroll dies or something?

Haha, this is going to be great.

I think USC is good, and probably the best, but spotting 17.5 points to an unknown opponent in what will very likely be the national championship?

That takes balls!

Ok, so USC by 17.5 against the field for the Natl Championship? What if they slip up? Bet canceled? And how much?

If they slip up I'll still take the field +17.5 against USC in whatever bowl they play. I'll bet as much as you want up to $500, as long as you agree to let a 3rd party hold the money.

$100 is fine, I don't think a 3rd party is needed (as we both have semi-decent reputations), but ok if you want.

$100 is good, I do want to send the money to someone else though. Not that I don't trust you, but there's 0 risk for either of us that way. I nominate Clarkmeister or Dynasty.
