Yankee fans are priceless.

So they put up a bunch of runs against two crappy D-Rays relievers, one of which was just completely hung out to dry by his @$$hole manager, who's clearly trying to get fired.

But yeah...that makes up for the fact that your "ace" pitcher got shelled. Again.

BTW... Clement > Mussina, Pavano, and the Big Eunuch.

I just got back from this game. If this doesn't turn them around, nothing will.

Big D,

How was your night at the gay bar? I hope your thong didn't get too much liquid in it.

Anyway, Clement is the suck.

the yankees are that good - they WILL win the east

i never count out the yanks - even though i'm a jays fan

[/ QUOTE ]

b/c they have to play something like .700 ball the rest of the way to have a chance to win the division

[/ QUOTE ]

i think this estimate is extremely high

[/ QUOTE ]

a little. to be sure you'll win the east, i'd say you gotta win 100, give or take. they have to play .685 to win 100 and .652 to win 97. is that doable? yes, but i still don't think they have the pitching, and that assumes both Bal and Bos fall off the pace. Bal's at a 97-98 win pace right now and Boston gets Schilling back and 24 out of their last 35ish games at home, so they may need to play .700 ball to win that division. and that 2nd half schedule isn't as kind as the first (at least, not at a glance) 6 series vs. teams below .500 (3 v. TB, Sea, Oak, and KC) and a bunch vs. Ana, Min, Bos, and Bal

high estimates are a by-product of posting during a spurs/pistons commercial.

meanwhile the two teams in front of them won handily on the ROAD against much better teams.

persoannly, i am a sox fan. year in and year out i worry about having to go thru NY at some point during the year. i just done have that fear this year. they are not a good team. jesus, they arent even one of the top ten teams in baseball, why dont you people face reality.
