I know what you mean, my name is Dathan. so I get everything from Nathan, to Jason, to Dayton. I go by my last name at restaurants. It sucks when people you could care less about can't get your name right. But I find it helps people to remember your name (for those people you want to remember it, like hot girls or job interviews). So be glad you have a diff. and unique name.
