Greg, you are awesome. As a poker player and as a person.

absolutely.
Though my WSOP ME event didn't go well, I got a thrill out of shacking Greg's hand in the hallway, and telling him I wished him the best of luck in the Main Event. I didn't ask him for aan autograph, as he was swamped with seekers, but tell him I was a 2+2'er and wished him the best of luck. I'm damn impressed with his success, and after going through my first WSOP, I now know you have seek out your opportunities and wise opportunities to gamble. Greg did that much better than the vast majority of us, and I salute him for that. -Z |

Well, I made a post for this same purpose, but can't find it now.
Congrats Greg, what a great feat. I was amazed and excited to see how well you were doing through-out the tournament. When you won last year, I made a post calling you lucky moron, but if course you are no moron. I have learned a lot about the game and you since then. A lot of what I learned can be indirectly attributed to you. Sorry for my ignorance then, and great luck in the futre. Brian. |

Congrats Greg on a very impressive run! With all the characters out there, its great to see someone with a lot of character do so well. Good luck in the future… unless of course your sitting across from me!

Well put. I'm saddened that it seems that many people don't give Raymer the credit I feel he deserves.
