Why did you change the limit from 15/30 to 50/100? You do this a lot and you never change the pot size.

Stop changing the limits or stop playing in games with different blind structures than the games you wish you were playing in.

Anyone else starting to feel really awkward? Starting to think that this is TheMatador from however long ago? A guy who is a little too big for his britches, very cocky and "just" joined the forum... It's okay man, we will accept you for who you are without you lying about downswings/winrates/the limits you play.

I PM'd this thought to Entity weeks ago but didn't say much beyond that because, frankly, if he's back and decides to post like a non-schmuck this time, that good for everyone.

Right, but he is acting like a schmuck. These boards rely on an honest flow of information, and when people misrepresent hands and their own successes or failures(i.e. GOOD PLAYERS NEVER GO ON 200BB+ DOWNSWINGS!) it does nothing positive for the community. I was nicer to TheMatador than most, but it seems like whenever he gets a little acceptance he turns into a self-righteous spammer who believes that we should be paying him for his wisdom. And lying about the limits of hands, etc? Just seems a little pathetic to me.

I don't disagree. But you have to admit the SB/pot-size eff-up is pretty damn hilarious.

I guess an education at Bob Jones University only costs 30 dollars these days, eh.

So, I'm playing at the $4,000-$8,000 NL game, I UTG+1 goes all-in, then a guy in MP goes all-in, I see AA on the button and fold. Flop comes deuce, trey, ace, turn brings a queen, river is a trey. UTG+1 had pocket treys. Damn I'm good. He took a healthy pot of $67.12.

Damnit, I meant the pot was $1,348,675. I'm not bragging though.

This is a funny thread.

But honestly, did anyone really think that anyone with the kind of experience and success that GentlemanGerry claims to have had would make such a lame hand post.

This simplistic post seems more indicative of a newbie or mediocre player.
