Explain how the Astros/Angels have benefited from questionable calls this postseason.

[/ QUOTE ]
This has to be a troll, right?

Here's a quote from Jermaine Lie after the game. Pretty low.

[ QUOTE ]
"I'm not going to tell him I fouled it off," Dye said. "Just go to first and, hopefully, we get a big hit and we did."

[/ QUOTE ]

Now I admit that we got outplayed (barely) in game one. But rightfully this series should be tied 1-1 going back to Houston. The White Sox along with the umpires screwed the Angels and now they are screwing the Astros as well.

This is just going to be more painful for you if you remain in denial.

Every team benefits from questionable calls.

Explain how the Astros/Angels have benefited from questionable calls this postseason. (Side bet says you'll use the line "well the Sox(!!) capitalized on every call".)

And as I pointed out earlier, ANY MLB team can capitalize when you give them extra ADDED outs and favorable calls.

[/ QUOTE ]

Your thoughts Clarkmeister?

I concur with whoever said this is a troll, so I didn't bother.

Give it up. By your logic, without the umps, the Astros don't even get to the World Series.

I'd say grooving one to Konerko and your busted down has-been closer letting a 0 HR guy go yard is what cost you the game. Good teams overcome, right?

Haha what do you want him to do, stop and tell the Ump "sorry, that ball hit my bat the count is still 3-2".

i love this bickering, it's quite cute.

anyways, i gave up my boycott and watched the game last night. sure, the ball didn't hit him, but what are you going to do, the ump can't see that area, so do you propose someone stand in front of the batter and pitcher to see if these things happen?

anyways, this game was a gem. the slammy, then the 2 run, 2 out single off jenks, and then finally the HR by pods, who got one back after making that horrible throw from left in the 9th.

again, there have been some awful calls in the postseason, but i was happy to be a baseball fan last night.

Sure. After all, Adam Everett let the ump know that he missed the tag on Molina by 18 inches didn't he? Oh, wait, he was a hero for "selling" the tag, my bad. Carry on.

I think it's hysterical. Couldn't happen to a nicer team.

At least GoT is being consistent. But the rest are so delusional it's amazing.
