Default Re: Another Field Update

wsop is rigged, they just wanted people who bet on ivey to get their hopes up, then down, then up.

maybe its part of big brother's anti-gambling campaign

It was 250-1 before the tournament started.

Not possible, it has to be a typo. Someone else would need to have like 4 mil.

Default Re: Card Player Chip Stacks

[ QUOTE ]
Why is Card Player messing up so much? They now have messed up the chip stacks page. For example they now have Raymer with 400,000 and Ivy with 130,000. Its bad enough that they mess up 1/4 of their updates and with only 80 players it still takes them an hour to post these stacks.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yah, it's ridiculous. They could at least make sure their updates on Ivey and Raymer are correct. I have no clue where these two are sitting. I hope Phil has 2 mill and Raymer 1.3, but who knows?

Default new wsop chips

if it wasnt so ridiculously expensive, the wsop could have chips with a electronic sensor in them, making chip counts as easy as waving a electric wand over the chips.

they could get chip counts done so fast and accurately give them to the media.

My only regret is not betting like $10 on Phil Ivey to win the main event, the Bodog odds were like 250-to-1. Yikes!

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, that's a terrible price.

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah it's just barely +EV at that price right now

[/ QUOTE ]

Huh? Aren't there like 85 players left? He can't be more than 50-1 at this point. To get 250-1 would be way more than barely +EV.

[/ QUOTE ]

With 85 players and the chip lead (or close to it), I'd bet Ivey at about 20-1 or so, maybe a shade less.

[/ QUOTE ]

I hadn't seen that he doubled from 1 to 2 mil. Thought he still only had 1.

they also list Brian Stelwagen with $580,000. Didn't they report that he was busted by Ivey (AK vs 88)?

I know. Someone said even now 250-1 would barely be +EV. I disagreed (didn't mean I thought that wager was actually being offered right now).

This is insane, how can those be right? If Ivey was at 2 mill. and someone pretty much knocked him out, then there would have to be a stack at 4 million.
