Let me add another hand from a tourney I just finished that I am still in shock from.

AtlBrvs4Life (t2525)
BB (t5475)

Flop: (t5050) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: (t5050) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t5050) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t5050
Main Pot: t5050 (t5050), between AtlBrvs4Life and BB. > Pot won by BB (t5050).

Default Re: UPDATE

Thanks for the well wishes, SayGN. Here are my results through 27 tournaments. I hope to be able to complete 100 by snowbank's "deadline" in a week or so. On pace anyways. I find I play very very well and almost always finish ITM when I play a single table, but I have tended to play two 10+1s at a time. Makes me feel better when I get 4th in an SNG I should have won to keep playing the other table I'm still in... otherwise I sometimes get discouraged and don't want to start another.

Would have had an extra 1st place finish in these stats, but I was drawn out by an AKo when I hit a flop of 6K6 holding A6o. I smooth call his flop bet. The turn is an 8 (rag). He bets, I push, he calls. River is a K !!! 3rd place finish for me. Oh well, experienced a lot worse beats than that and money is money.

27 $10+1 NL SNG Tournaments
1st Place: 5
2nd Place: 2
3rd Place: 7
ITM: 51.8%
ROI: 66%
Profit: $153.00

Placed 10th in a $30 3-table tournament when my push with A8o was called by a small stack holding 95s and he hit a 5 and I hit nothing.

More updates when I hit 50-60 tournaments.

well, the first one is a bad beat where you just pull your hair out and throw small children around the room...2nd one, ive only seen 1 royal flush in my life and it was a live game where the guy hit it on the turn and took home 30 cents. Not so much a bad beat as the first which is crap

Definately not a bad beat, but I had to throw it in there. It's only like the 4th royal I have seen on party.

Default Re: Half way done...

Update. I've been running really poorly these past two days, with 2 ITM finishes out of 12.

52/100 SNGs completed.
1: 8
2: 5
3: 13
4-9: 26

ITM: 50%
Profit: $99.40
ROI: 29.4%

So yeah, I've lost $10 over the past 30 SNGs, getting a hugely imbalanced number of thirds.

I think I might be too aggressive once the blinds start to grow; I guess I'll take at look at where I stand after I finish all 100.

Default Re: 100 SIT AND GO CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just finished my first 100 (alright, 102) 20+2s at Party,

There were some bumps in the road, as well as a few patches of 3 or so days off, so it took me a little over 3 weeks. Well, those things, and that silly full time employment thing slowed me down a great deal

I started playing about 50% 10s and 50% 20s, then hit a rough patch of 20s right when I switched to 100% 20s, moved down to 10s for a bit to get my confidence (and br) back up where I wanted them, then went back to 100% 20s. I think there's definitely some room for improvement in my results.

So,

102 games played
Avg Finish: 4.33
ITM 46.08%
1st 16
2nd 11
3rd 20
ROI: 36.36%

Worst streak: 9 with no cashes, in a streak starting 6 games into my career at the 20s.
Best consecutive run: 6 cashes (no firsts )
Most 1sts in a row: 2, twice.

Most interesting player I played with: Pecosbill1.
Bill has wonderful stats like these:
VP$IP: 70.07 (100% at level1)
Hands he's VP$IP with:
Q8o: won 1000 chips
55: won 895 chips
K3o: won 840 chips
22: won 840 chips
65o: won 815 chips
AKo: (strange on this list) won 1428 chips
You get the point.
Mostly he's interesting because he has a "system," which he tells everyone he has when he sits, then proceeds to go with it. It seems to be "raise 125 preflop no matter what the action was to you at level 1" "push on the flop" "get lucky."

Played 6 tournaments with him: he's got 2 1sts and a 2nd, 2 10ths and a 9th. Tidy $128 profit. If it works, don't knock it?

So yeah, I think that I need to work on making this a 20, 16, 11 instead of a 16, 11, 20 thing. I've been consoling myself in the fact that I've got more 1sts than 2nds, but that's really just appeasing myself. My bubble play clearly needs a little work, as does my 3 handed play. I'm quite confident most of the time with my HU play.

Fun challenge, I look forward to moving to the 30s and doing it there!

Best of luck to everyone else,

citanul

That's funny. I played Pecosbill1 in a SNG the other day and though he was hilarious

Crazy to hear he actually has a winning record in sngs with you. I'd seriously doubt he has an overall winning record

Any Stats on BradS?
I hear he's a 20+2/30+3 master

Regards
Brad S

Default THANKS FOR THE PECOSBILL1 TIP!!!

I love players like that cuz I can sit out and let them work their magic!!!...I saw your post and I put him on my buddy list and found him right away...Sat down in a 20+2 NL hold 'emSng at Party with him...He was eventually eliminated but he caused major damage!!!! 25 hands in to the tourney and me on post/fold I was in the last 3...One player had 6500 chips to mine and the other players 750 or there abouts....I finally play and get dealt an AKs vs chip leaders pocket 6's and lose when no help comes....But it was the easiest $18 net win I have ever had...Thanks for the tip...Good Luck all!!!

Guys, just remember some saying about cows or something like that.

When I followed him to 6 tournaments in a row, he actually thought it was really funny and was having a good time with it, but in general, people don't like to feel like they are being stalked

Happy hunting, don't dry up the well.
