Funny to look back at this thread now.
Homer's reply had me chuckling. At the time I had been criticizing the SS forum for wanting to create a form for posters to have their posts pre-approved before it got posted, "What's wrong with the SS forum?" post was at this time as well. Anyway Homer disagreed with my opinion and tactics. There was a thread (or 2) where he challenged my critter wisdom (Let Gregorio find it I'm too lazy) on the subject. Make a long story short he stated his opinion like a man and to my knowlege never "tattled" on me. In the last few months Homer and I have PM'd on Casino issues and because of Homers knowlege, Bonus/Casino Whores has my business. In the PMs we have bantered and joked a little as well and get along. Saying we are friends is perhaps too strong but we do get along and if I met Homer I'd certainly have a beer or perhaps a glass of goat's milk with him. Al Capone and Husker started the same way with me. Capone and I since get along and Husker I do count as a friend. Kind of funny that this thread made me think of this. I guess the point is not to keep grudges, handle disagreements straight-forward and honestly, and then go make some damn money at the poker tables! |
