This begs the question: if you were going to kill yourself, what albums would make up your suicide soundtrack?

[/ QUOTE ]

This certainly does not beg the question.

Elliot Smith "From a Basement on a Hill"
Cold "13 Ways to Bleed on Stage"

On a semi-related note, watching High Fidelty for the 500th time inspired me to make a compilation CD titled "Better to Burn out than Fade Away" featuring songs by those who left us too soon, mostly are sad or death related songs.

Elliot Smith "Fond Farewell"
Elliot Smith "King's Crossing"
Jimi Hendrix "Manic Depression"
Mother Love Bone "Man of Golden Words"
Led Zeppelin "Stairway to Heaven"
Jim Croce "Time in a Bottle"
Blind Melon "Change"
Jeff Buckley "Grace"
Nirvana "On a Plain"
2Pac "How Long Will they Mourn Me"
The Doors "Waiting for the Sun"
Janis Joplin "Take a Piece of my Heart"
Alice in Chains "Rain When I Die"
Sublime "Same in the End"
Sex Pistols "God Save the Queen"
