Care to explain why you think that? I think betting the flop isn't a bad thing here at all. Is it really getting checked through often at a commerce 15/30 game?

My main reasons for betting vs. checking come from a post Clark made -- I think it was to Justin, actually -- about a similar hand where Justin held something like AhKh on a ragged flop, and Clark mentioned that by betting he will prevent himself from having overly tough decisions to make, that his equity with overs+BD draws wasn't particularly bad against a big field, and people probably weren't folding to the bet anyway.

So yeah, I really don't think a flop bet is spewing.

I just realized that it was really dumb of me to call that bet spewing. It's definitely not "spewing" but I do think that checking is a better play.
