He made a list of crappy behavior he would not tolerate and posted it in the initial thread once he was approved. He has also confirmed statements that I have made regarding my understanding of his policy: Essentially, if you crap up OOT w/ lame, dumbass posts, you will get banned. I remember that response in the original thread, and I addressed it there. He gave a couple of pretty broad guidelines (SIIHP is bad, stupid picture threads are bad, stupid polls are bad, etc.). What he hasn't done, as far as I know, is say what, exactly, constitutes a stupid thread. Before it became huge, would he have considered the Picture War thread to be stupid, ban the OP and lock what turned out to be an awesome thread?

I never said I was being oppressed and I don't feel like I am. I think your policy is abusive and I'm telling you that. My issue is that you've openly said that you reserve the right to ban me for it (or anything else, for that matter), which I think is ridiculous.

Just say "I will ban people for doing x, y or z" instead of giving yourself carte blanche and I'll be satisfied. You haven't done it, and until you do, I'll keep asking for it.

What pisses me off about this whole policy is that it's ultimately the culmination of a longtime effort to try to turn OOT into a lovefest for a couple of posters who feel that they're better than everyone else because they have high post counts. Why don't you just start a new forum that only you, Daryn and ElD can access? Wouldn't that save you a lot of effort?
