Only a good man like you is saddened when your behavior disappoints the only person that counts. That you're hoping it's the last time should help assuage your sadness.

OT, why do we call an opponent a "villain"?

Andy, I always look forward to your posts and this is a great example of why.

was your raise preflop for meta-game reasons (to tilt sb if u won)? Or do u consider this +EV b/c bb,sb played so bad? just curious

Most people couldn't play very well from the blinds, which becomes key in tight games.

Hi Josh,

I think that the only thing that sucks is that your post turned into a flame of your play. I understand the point of your post. Not many things surprise me anymore. Granted, a stereotype generally creates itself when we see a repeated type of action/emotion with players. I used to think that myself, but there seems to always be the exception to every stereotype.

Yeah, I assume that's the reason, just seems like the wrong word for an opponent. No biggie.

Josh likes to play 3-2 so he can declare, at the river, "Bottom pair, bottom kicker."

Victor is right, but I'm still not bold enough to go out on a limb and say it's +EV. So, there's some metagame considerations being thrown in there...

Another being that most often you flop the worst possible hand.
