It's amazing what 5 seconds of legwork will teach you, isn't it? Wheeler is a solid 8th inning setup guy for Lidge, and Qualls is a solid 7th inning guy. Gallo is useless. Springer is hit or miss. He pitches well when we're behind but he can't seem to hold a lead.

We also have Wandy Rodriguez in the pen for long (left-handed) relief. He's a rookie, and was our #5 starter this year, compiling I believe a 10-10 record. He's quality.

I heard somewhere (everywhere) that Derek Jeter is homosexual. Guess that means it's fact?

Braves now have to win 3 of the next 4 games, in which they will face Clemens, Oswalt, and Pettitte again. Not to mention Backe, who 1-hit the Cardinals in Game 5 of the NLCS last year.

White Sox will close out either in Game 3 or 4. It's high time the "RED SOX NATION" realizes that their team is fundamentally HORRIBLE. And exhorbanently cocky, to boot.

F those jagoffs. Seal them off for another 86 years.

Just wanted to remind you guys, especially the Boston and NY fans, that I called this on October 4.

god no. i had a soft spot for them coming into the postseason. too bad they couldn't keep a 6-1 lead in game 4, and then not score in 9 extra innings.

Yeah, then beat Pettitte in game 5 with no bullpen and an injured Smoltz. They came soo close to beating the Astros, even with HF advantage.

No Boston or NYY fans give a S*** about any other teams. All they care about is beating eachother, which proved to be their tragic downfall this season. They got so worked up about which team was better that they failed to pay attention to the other 28 teams out there. Nice boneheaded $200M strategy
