haha, this almost got me into trouble last week. i have a poker group down here in the village, and i sent an email out telling everyone that i will be collecting $2 from everyone to buy some cards, and if you have a problem with this "i will laugh at you and call you a cheap jew". one of the new freshmen didn't like this at all, and cursed me out in an email. silly jews.

By "part Jewish," I mean that given that "Jewishness" is so frequently seen as a "cultural heritage" rather than a distinct ethnic group or religion, and people in New York disproportionately share in that heritage, that they know more about and are more aware of Jewishness. Makes sense to me.

I am from a small town in the south and to my knowledge there were no Jews in my town. I had a teamate in college who was Jewish as were several others in the college town. I had know idea for over a year. I also have little to no preconcieved prejudices against Jews because of simply never knowing any. It never dawned on me that to "Jew" someone down on a price was a racial slur.
Don't get me started on those dirty fing negroids though. That was a joke so pull your panties out of you vagina and get over it.
