'94 and '95 for the SNES destroyed my Junior year of college. My roomate was deadly with the skate behind the net and one-time across the crease move. '94 was superior; '95's movement was too fast and loose, but at least gave crappier players like myself a better chance.
The key, of course, was the three or so seconds after the whistle you could use to check your opponent. No matter what the score, the "thud" signified the real winner. |
