This I can agree upon, I like Chris Cornell alot. I wish they could replace all the Eddie Vedder verses in Temple of the Dog with more Chris Cornell.

This is kind of a tough question since frontmen almost always get a disproportionally large amount of credit in relation to the band as a whole, so they are seldom underrated. If a frontman is underrated, the band usually is too. I can't think of very many exceptions.

I was thinking the same thing... So I'd have to pick an underrated band where the frontman plays a large roll (songwriter/singer/guitar) or something like that. My pick would be Jim James of the band My Morning Jacket.

A lot of OOTiots don't even know what CCR means (they'd probably recognize the music). There was a thread on this way back.
