The other cool things on TV38 when I was a kid:

**There were the Red Sox's flagship station. One promo that remains to this day stuck in my head: "The Game is on... TV 38" sung to the tune of "The Heat is On" by Glenn Frey.

**The "Creature Double Feature" where I was first introduced to Godzilla and other weird monster movies.

**Every New's Eve they did a "Three Stooges" marathon, and they usually played primarily the Curly episodes.

Teevee thirtyeight.... doubleyou esss beekaaay teevee......BOSTON.

And no, to be precise....it's Dana HERSEY, not like the candy bar.

Ruth is a perfect example of bad variance. Gets lucky when she flops her 4 gapper two pair, but eventually goes broke.

Yes, I messed up with Dana Hersey. Ask the Manager was truly a cult classic though. They used to run the 3 Stooges Saturday/Sunday mornings. I remember the times they'd show the greyhound races from Rayhnam/Taunton late at night.

With L@TB going to a M-F schedule, Russ is only able to play Saturdays.

So Russ's cult has six days of rest? Where do I sign up?
