[ QUOTE ]

He's a local (maybe) pro. I've played with him a few times in the Bellagio 30 and the Mirage 40. I used to see him a lot in the 80. My temp read based on only a few hours of play together is that he's pretty decent. I haven't played with him in a long time though.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've played against him at the Mirage 20 and 40 games. He busted out his computer one night there and multi-tabled party.

He's decent for those levels, but if he's a pro he's going to have a heart-attack pretty damn soon, he's wound so tight.

I'm with you...as long as he played reasonably quickly, I can't see it being a big deal.

For those wondering, he plays at the Wynn because his girlfriend works there in the poker room, I'm not sure what she does. I assume that's part of the reason he's allowed to do it night after night.

LOL, after seeing that guy another kid tried it the next day, and I tried it today. Very boring. Did 4 tabling of NL 400 (6 max on party) with Gametime+ along with playing some 2/5 NL Live and 5/10 NL, but the game was kinda dying so I left.

I think I saw this guy when I was at the wynn during the summer in the 40/80 game. The problem with it is that i feel that it scares the fishes. One very drunken fish to my right got so upset about it he called the floor about it and there was a big argument at the table. Mason Malmuth was at the table at the same time as well when it happened.

This is a good point. Aside from it slowing down the game, a big reason why some rooms don't allow you to read at the table is because it's intimidating to the fish; which is a valid reason IMO.

here's a blog entry that talks
about a guy who pulled out a laptop
at a 40/80 game at the mirage.
might be the same guy.
