Default Changing the game in Mid Stream

Easy question but I dont know the answer. In an ongoing game, if someone seated doesnt want to change it to an unrestricted buy in, can it be changed? You sit expecting one thing and suddenly it changes. If can be changed without a players consent, does the casino comp him something? I seriously dont know but am curious about it since I have a limited bankroll.

I think it has to be unanimous, because they're saying when seat 7 leaves, they're changing the blind structure.
