Expansion? Um, no.

[/ QUOTE ]

vegas reaaaaaaaaally needs a team not named the brewers. Or blue jays.

[/ QUOTE ]

The brewers are safely staying in Milwaukee. Also your bet about the cubs vs astros, not very smart. Right now theres a halfway decent chance the brewers could end up with a better record than the cubs.

[/ QUOTE ]

they might finish ahead of the astros too. I figure nomar back and nefi out is like a win a week...

You are such a sucker. They should be giving you 2-1 odds.

2-1??? Cubs are only 4 games back -- I agree his accepting this bet was homer-ish...but 2-1? That's a bit much, don't you think? Maybe 60-40 is what I'd be looking for if I was on the other side.

Oh well...bet is made!

Thank you for giving the Blue Jays a shot by getting them away from the Yanks and Bosox. However, I think the current system is a pretty good one.

Not only are you 4 back, they are playing lights-out and your team is in a shambles. I'll lay you 2-1 provided you bet $500.

Finding it hard to bet against my Astros -- what's more I'm finding it hard to invest 500 bucks on a sports bet, since I haven't seriously bet sports in more than 4 years (maybe I DON'T know what I'm talking about -- though I'm pretty confident my 100 on the Astros straight-up was good).

But if you just want the action, I'll be happy to take the Cubs at 1-2 for 67 dollars and just lock in my profit right there! Totally up to you. :-)

Never mind on that -- I think I'd rather keep the 100 bucks I'm already spending from bugstud.
