Re: 75-150 Taj Hand
[ QUOTE ]
So your solution is to raise preflop, get isolated, and then call down the whole way when there is a pretty damn good chance he has AK, AQ, AJ or a flopped set [/ QUOTE ] I think you're giving the average "solid TAG pro" way to much credit for their 3 betting range. In answer to your question, yes, thats exactly what you should do. It isn't close. [ QUOTE ] I think that is horrible advice [/ QUOTE ] Obviously we will have to agree to disagree. No offense intended. [ QUOTE ] And in response to your first point, if you checkraise the flop and villain 3-bets, you can safely fold and save yourself 1.5 BB [/ QUOTE ] Um...no you can't. If Villian were loose/passive, or even tight/passive you could certainly get away from this hand. This, however, is a pro. They use deception, free card plays, and all the other nasty tricks. A 3 bet on the flop here hardly ever means a big ace. If this Pro is as good as Jeff indicated. He'll call the flop c/r, call the turn bet, and raise you on the river if you're silly enough to bet. lf |
