I wouldnt really trust the WPT for your final table strategy.

Aint that the truth. I saw Cloutier a while in the poker superstars thing limp in the small blind with 3bb and AKo, and check/folded a J99 type flop. Amazing.

I've only made one final table out of all the tournies i've played, that was in a KOTZ and I finished 3rd.

I'm still pretty crappy at tournies, I bubble alot and have had trouble lately even making the money.

but, i march onward still.

They have these cool little camera-thingies on TV poker now. It's great. Check it out.

I've made three final tables in 500+ entrant events.

2nd place in the first, ~1900 entrants ($5+1)
7th place in the second, ~1700 entrants ($30+3)
1st place in the third, ~2000 entrants ($20+2)

Honestly, had a hard time making one, keep finishing 10th, 11th, 12th. First final was a win in a 50 dollar at stars. Probably because most of my play was based on SNGs, felt comfortable waiting until smaller stacks were eliminated before I made my move.

the first was a joke of an online tourney on interpoker which i got like 5th in cuz of badbeats
the 2nd was a $1 tourney on STARS (ya!!!). got 5th for a big $44
then finally got 1st in a party $30 buy in for a 4K payday

not that many since im not a MTT player, but i still think i have the skills to do well

Only made two final tables, first was in a $2 party tourney with 2000 entrants where party added $500 to the prizepool. Took second there and $500.
Second FT was a few days ago in a Party shootout with 2000 people for $5. Took 7th for about $130.
