You're kidding yourself if you think obstruction is going to be called come playoff time. The NHL emphasises calling more holding and hooking penalties in the neutral zone the beginning of every year. The first couple months you'll see a lot of calls. Than the refs slowly begin to swallow their whistles and look the other way. Once the playoffs begin, you're going to have to take somebody to the ice to get called for obstruction.
