Nice, got a novel going. Im into the same sort of stuff, mostly film though.

Anyway u live in the NW? If you find yourself having trouble I can hook u up with Tom Spanbauer (the guy who basically guided Chuck P while writing Fight Club) -- anyway, chuck doesnt teach any classes or anything at the moment...but if u need the hook up w/ the guy who taught him, let me know (both are equally of the same talent when it comes to teaching this stuff).

Good luck. Ive put off writing the two ideas Ive had (novel and screenplay) for a while the last few months, been concentrating more on poker and such.

Default Day 8/100

I remember why I have stayed at the 25NL for so long. I have the [censored]-ing 50's. I hate the 50's so god damned much. I don't even have a tangible reason I just hate them.

of course today was a complete waste. It seemed like there were a ton of suckouts but who knows I probably got my ass kicked.

50NL stats
2200 hands 7 hours
+ $63, 2.9bb/100
$8.89 + 7.50 rake/hr

Bankroll 1000/6000

I really just want to go back to the 25's where I know I will dominate but I will give it another try tomorrow.

Total for project 1,198.

This was very results focused which is not like me. I think it is because I am at a new limit and I don't have confidence that I will win over the long term.

Portland. Pearl district (5-6 blocks from powells burnside). But yeah writing has always been my forte. Its one of the things that whether it comes off cocky or not, that I know I excel at. Still have pretty big plans but then I got caught up in the whole poker deal...and have been putting all my time into the game lately.

Default Day 17/100

OK I sucked last week and didn't play at all besides a few 1000 hands on Monday. I am back at though this week with avengance.

I've decided to take a bit of a risk and take a sot at 3/6 with 200bb's. It is a gamble but I am tired of farting around at the small stakes NL and it is something I want to do. I've set my drop down (back to 25NL) at a $500bank roll.

I figure I need to get somewhat lucky and avoid a significant downswing for something like my first 10k hands. At that point I should have a large enough bankroll to not worry about it.

The way I see it I can pretty much make $25/hr whenever I want at 25NL only needing a $500 roll.

So far I am at 2100 hands and averaging 3.81bb/100 so I have been running incredibly well.

The rake back for these games is an incredible $17/50/hr

I'm going to try and get another 2k hands in to put at 4k for the day.

the rest of the night sucked as I crashed back to earth hard.

I'm at 3700 hands now of 3/6 6max and down to 1.3bb/100. I'm `100bb from having to move down.

As of day 17 I am really no better off poker wise then when I started.

Grade so far D.

Is that a 25% rakeback deal 4-tabling 6max? just curious.
