hmm ... did you know that there is a STRIPPERS CONVENTION the later week. Yeah ... umm ... my buddy dates a stripper and we have free passes to all their clubs, seminars, etc.

I pray to god everyday that I can build my bankroll enough to go for a week. I will walk there if I have to!!

[/ QUOTE ]

Where? What week? Is my timing right?

Juniors has the nostalgia factor. Plus its in Brooklyn.

The Shake Shack is fine, but I can pull off any exit on the Garden State Parkway and get burgers and shakes that are just as good.

[/ QUOTE ]

Besides where I live (Fat Burger rules, but it is fast food), I challenge you to name one exit and accompanying restaurant in NJ.

Off the top of my head, get off at the Tuckerton exit and there is a place there that is good. Also on Long Island there is a place on Merrick Road in Amityville. There is also a place in New Jersey where they serve deep fried hot dogs.

Callahans? I grew up in Fort Lee. I even worked the counter there for a while. Callahans is a gastronomic landmark.

Grrr...

I'm only like 10% to go now. Business opportunity came up and I need to be in town the week after Bunkfest. I'm most likely not going to go if I can't stay in NY for at least 5 days.

[/ QUOTE ]

teh lame....

By the way, I'll be in LA - Aug 13-15, Vegas Aug 28-31 (my birthday I might add), and then off to Casino Arizona for 4 days. Just hit it and quit it. Its worth the trip for 2-3 days, after all its NYC! Ya know we have strip clubs here too right?

TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

[/ QUOTE ]

Strip clubs? Tempting....

The only thing is I'd pretty much to fly back by Sunday night red eye or early Monday morning. Hmmmm, if I can find a cheap place to stay, I'll strongly consider it, but from the NY prices I've seen quoted, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Tell me more. Namely: exact dates. It's unclear from your post.

[/ QUOTE ]

I say we all go. Now THIS is worth making a trip for.

I think you're talking about All-American Burger. I've been there a few times, excellent burgers. I'm not 100% sure though as I've only been there a few times.
